וַיֹּאמְר֗וּ מָ֣ה הָאָשָׁם֮ אֲשֶׁ֣ר נָשִׁ֣יב לוֹ֒ וַיֹּאמְר֗וּ מִסְפַּר֙ סַרְנֵ֣י פְלִשְׁתִּ֔ים חֲמִשָּׁה֙ עפלי [טְחֹרֵ֣י] זָהָ֔ב וַחֲמִשָּׁ֖ה עַכְבְּרֵ֣י זָהָ֑ב כִּֽי־מַגֵּפָ֥ה אַחַ֛ת לְכֻלָּ֖ם וּלְסַרְנֵיכֶֽם׃
Dann sagten sie: 'Was soll das Schuldopfer sein, das wir ihm zurückgeben werden?' Und sie sagten: 'Fünf goldene Emerods und fünf goldene Mäuse, je nach Anzahl der Herren der Philister; denn eine Plage war auf euch allen und auf euren Herren.
